I’VE NEVER DONE A CROSSFIT WORKOUT.  IS CROSSFIT VALLEY STRONG A GOOD PLACE TO LEARN?

Yes! We have athletes of ALL levels and our coaches are experts at teaching beginners.  All of our coaches have multiple CrossFit certifications to help every fitness level.  We keep our classes small (16 or less) which makes it an ideal place to learn CrossFit for the first time.  The goal is to start at your current level and with consistency continue to level up at an intensity level that’s appropriate for you.   The coach will help you determine this and be with you every step of the way!

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CROSSFIT CLASSES IN WOODLAND HILLS?

Wear exercise clothes and shoes you're comfortable moving around in. You'll want to make sure to bring water and a hand towel is also recommended.  We’ll provide everything else.

CLASSES AT VALLEY STRONG?

The coach will be expecting you for your first class, so just show up early and ask for the coach.  Once you arrive we'll walk you through everything so you feel totally comfortable before you start!

HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK DOES VALLEY STRONG RECOMMEND I DO CROSSFIT WORKOUTS?

This depends on your fitness level. For folks who have not exercised, we recommend easing into fitness with 3 CrossFit workouts a week. Our more conditioned members are in the gym 5-6 times a week.  We’ll have you consult with your coach during your first class and they can make a more detailed recommendation after learning a little more about you and your fitness goals.
